The Carnival Triumph is an older ship. There were signs of rust in places on deck, and the interior decorations do need a serious update.

However, the reasons for going on a Carnival cruise have not changed on this vessel: We had Fun! Every where we went on board, we had a good time. The Alchemy Bar was my favorite stop on the Promenade deck. Each evening Jason and Aleksandr worked hard to entertain us while fixing superb cocktails. As Alek shared, "I like this job because I have the best view out my window when I go to work."

We had the Chef's Table experience for the first time on this cruise. All the dishes were amazing. And it was a great deal for the price. I have spent double and triple the amount for a tasting course for two people at some restaurants in New Orleans. And the food was excellent.

I'm tired of Cozumel. I did no excursion.
