This was our fourth Carnival Cruise. It was spring break for K-12 and there were a lot of families cruising with their children. This ship recently came out of dry dock after receiving some upgrades, such as Guy's Burger Joint, which we loved and highly recommend. The food on the Lido buffet was better than past cruises and showed an improved quality in taste. We loved the nightly movies at the Seaside Theatre. This ship seems to have a lot of deck loungers for those that love to be in the sun all the time. Devon was our ship steward and he took excellent care of our cabin. We took advantage of having some items washed for the first time and it worked out great. One note if you do have anything washed, the standard laundry bag as described in the information is actually more like a paper bag and it doesn't hold very much. One drawback to the cruise was the number of children we witnessed playing with the soft serve ice cream machines. They would hold the handle down and just let the ice cream go all over the place, or they'd fill a cone and throw it behind the machine, on the tray, and in the pathway where people walked. Embarkation was the worst we have ever experienced. This process needs to be improved.

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

This cabin is located right around the corner from the elevators, which was nice.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

Nice beach and a great lunch.

Aruba

We took a walk downtown, where there were plenty of shops and restaurants. You can take a trolley for free from the port into downtown and back. Aruba was by far our favorite port to visit this cruise.
