Wanted to get away from the snow and cold, this trip hit the mark. Plus we took the bus and got dropped off and picked up right at the NJ port. Everyone from RC were so friendly and engaging. The ship was clean, the food was fantastic and the shows were great. I highly recommend trying the North Star, that was an awesome experience. We missed going to one of the restaurants because we didn't do our homework on what was available. So do whatever research on the ship prior to departure. I would also highly recommend going to all shows. On Anthem of the Seas they had an awesome show featuring the music of Queen- 'We will Rock You' If they made a video, I would buy it! The only issue was getting through customs when we got back, 4900 people getting off the ship and they only had 4 lines open. Plus if you got a porter that allowed you to jump the line. Not cool at all for the rest of us waiting our turn. Overall rating for Royal Caribbean is excellent.
Well laid out, plenty of room to move about and put away things. Empty suitcases slid right under the beds. Bathroom was spacious with plenty of elbow room. Very clean and always attended. Balcony had two chairs with foot rest, and small side table to hold drinks.
I stayed on the ship and took advantage of the over 16 pool/whirlpools in the Solarium. Not as crowded with most guest out doing excursions. Very relaxing and enjoyable
Picked this port to sail from based on how close and easy it was to get to, no plane ride. Of course very crowded coming and going. Easy to get separated from your group if you're not careful. Organized chaos getting on. Not enough customs officers working when we got home.
