In comparison to other RCL cruises this was not up to standard.

We decided on this cruise because was available when our daughter and son-in-law could get away. This was their first cruise and was very enjoyable for them. They had never traveled out of the USA before and, being young, they really enjoyed it.

On the other hand, for seniors with walking problems, this was not a great cruise. Check in was a nightmare, mostly due to the security issue and the way it was handled. There should have been RCL people at the Administration building with water and cold towels. Also, when security was cleared, there should have been more buses to transport people to the check in.

The piers at the ports were too long without shuttles or cart transportation. At least, gangway entrances should be closer to the long pier, not further away.

Our steward was excellent and met all of our needs.

Maintenance came immediately when we had a broken glass in our room.
