Very disappointed with the downward direction in which Princess is spiraling. This last cruise was very poor.

Good: Cruise director Matt was funny and friendly. Matt's assistant, Theo, is the best Zumba instructor on land and sea. Orchestra plus singers and dancers were top notch. Our 6 year old grandson enjoyed the Children's Kids Club.

Bad: Food, cleanliness and entertainment were well below par. Worst food ever in all our years of sailing - bland, visually unappealing, tasteless fruit, tough meats, spongy fish/lobster, most dishes over ridden with bell pepper, repetitive offerings especially at the buffet. Food temperatures unsafe - dangerously tepid. Hand washing stations were dirty and unsupervised. Brought this to attention of staff who merely shrugged their shoulders. Also told them about passengers we saw who'd touch food with hands and/or drop serving utensils - again no response from staff. Public toilets often not working. Vile smoke filled areas outside Princess Theatre. Slow elevators and even slower internet. Only two entertainers - a magician and a not-so-funny comedian. No enrichment lectures or port lectures. There was no sign at all of the captain the entire voyage - he didn't even show up at the Captain's Party. Not sure if he is shy, arrogant or non-existent !!!
