Chose this cruise because of the interesting mix of ports to visit and liked the idea of travelling on a smaller, older ship. Mixed reviews on here but we were pleasantly surprised.

Cabin was very clean and spacious two good sized windows, cabin steward very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, plenty of choice and good quality in both Marcos (buffet) and the Waldorf (sit down restaurant). Plenty of varied ways to amuse yourself on board- pool, gym, ping pong, quizzes, shows etc. Ship was fully booked and did feel busy at times.

Only slight disappointment was that we didn't get to go ashore in Stornaway, the sea was too rough and swell too high to use the tender boats. Crew did their best to get us ashore but unfortunately it didn't happen- can't be helped though as purely down to the weather.
