My wife and I took the Panama Canal cruise in April 2018, 10 days and 5 ports.

The good: weather was excellent; cruise staff was courteous and helpful; stateroom well kept; food choices generally excellent, although I missed fruits like papaya; exercise room well kept, ample equipment; a good variety of music, and dance classes; free on demand movies. My wife spent some time at the spa, which she enjoyed on those days at sea.

We did not have time to take part with any of the enrichment programs on board, but we were entertained by the dance lessons and the evening music in the various launches.

Balcony

Cabin BA

We had a stateroom with a balcony, something that we never had for all our other cruises. It was a good decision, as we enjoyed the open air and view when close to ports. For several nights we were able to see the moon/stars. We even left the window open to listen to the sound of the waves as the ship moved forward.
