My husband and I were finally able to afford some time away. I had previously cruised with Carnival and enjoyed my experience. Embarkation took all of 5 minutes, even showing up a half hour before our “appointment” time. Disembarkation took a bit longer but still was very smooth. We had a balcony room, port side, and it was pretty roomy for 2 adults. We were supposed to have a king bed but it was left as 2 twins. It took 2 calls to housekeeping but it was fixed. Otherwise, everything was great! Donkey was an awesome cruise director—you can tell he loves his job! We had awesome table mates during dinner (late dining; Silver Olympian). The comedy shows with John MacDon were hilarious! Eric Schwartz....not so much. We visited Freeport and Nassau but only spent an hour or so roaming around. We bought drinks, Cuban rum, and Tortuga rum cakes! We would definitely cruise again, especially with Carnival
