We had an ocean view cabin towards the rear of the ship on the starboard side. Cabin was clean and in good repair

We have been here before and found it to be an unfriendly port.  It has the Mexican Navy docked there and they have border patrol with I would guess drug sniffing dogs to walk around visitors, While its not intimidating for it is their job to keep visitors safe,  I wondered why they thought it necessary to check out vacationers when its clearly their own citizens who traffic drugs

We chose not to take any shore excursions as we had visited both stops several times on different cruises, but we did get off the ship so I could do some shopping

I think what was the most worry some this trip was I noticed the ship itself was in real bad need of repair, especially so in the self serving dining area on deck 9 where one of the large floor to ceiling windows on the starboard  side was shattered in millions of pieces, than on the port side of deck 9 the refreshment station had a bad leak and it was roped off for a day or two.We made some good friends from sharing a dinning table who ended up spending a lot of time playing cards with us.
