Cabin: Oceanview Picture Window
We chose this cruise first for the ship, Gem, which we have sailed before and loved. We also chose this cruise for the 10 day experience, as I have only done 7 days up until now.
Embarkation: smooth as silk as we are Platinum. We both agree that the perk of priority embarkation is one of our favorite perks, especially in NYC where it is very crowded. We arrived around 1:30 and were on by 2. Very quick!
Cabin was 5516, ocean view picture window. We need at least a window as we would sleep all day in an interior. I was nervous about this location but was so pleasantly surprised as it was so convenient! right by the elevator, convenient to dining, and the spa, which we visited everyday.
