We chose our cruise because of the itinerary (French Polynesia & Hawaii) and were a little apprehensive due to the smaller ship. We were very happy with both. Planning to go again real soon. The staff especially the team of Joseph & Gidek (sic) our room attendants worked above and beyond to insure everything was perfect. We’ve been on a few other cruise lines and found Oceania a cut above the others in accommodations, service level and, by a wide margin, food and wine. With a total of 20 sommeliers on our ship, an emphasis on upsell on wine sales were evident. Room service at no added cost is nice benefit. We tipped with each delivery. Easter brunch was popular, 850 passengers attended. The Hawaiian Buffet is not to be missed. Our 18 day cruise had half of them at sea. casino tournaments actually didn’t have enough players to be held - but the ship had plenty of activities. Karliss the culinary instructor was popular and cheerfully shared his expertise. Daniel’s movie star smile seemed to be at every meal and Red Gingers Sasha was always super friendly. If you’re having more than 4 drinks a day, consider the drink package.
The rest of ship was spotless clean. We plan to take another Oceania cruise soon. Non Voyage!
