Picked cruise due to low last minute prices and high rating for ship. Spring break cruise, so full house, with 700 guests under 21 per one of the presentations and many 3rd and 4th bunks in use. However, never crowded, no lines, elevators came quickly.
Food was very good, enjoyed a bountiful breakfast everyday, large variety at lunch and a great sitdown dinner at 8pm second seating. We really enjoyed eating in the Horizon Terrace, but often was better to grab silverware on way out since staff back there was really busy with overflow from indoor dining.
Pools were nice, child, bigger family and the adult retreat pool. Movies under the stars were enjoyable and what a nice spot to relax and watch a film. Lots of shady spots on upper decks, much better than any beach vacation.
Nice, quiet comfortable interior cabin. Center door, we had the beds in twin configuration, so looked almost like a den. Lots of closet space (two closets, shelves, safe) and small but fully functional bath with plenty of storage on 3 shelves in bathroom, nighttables with 2 drawers and bin for papers, more drawers and a mini fridge near the door.
Fun relaxing on loungers, snorkeling, and swimming.
Best snorkeling near the pavillions.
Princess should improve the food and the logistics at the BBQ.
Took taxi from port to Na Bah or Simpson Bay (not sure which one)
Beach is good, but nothing special
Greenhouse restaurant was excellent with 2 for 1 drinks ($4 for 2 beers, $8.50 for 2 mules, etc) and reasonable food prices ($10-15). Excellent chowder and spicy chicken wrap.
Taxi to ferry to Taxi .. to St John / Trunk Bay
Cost a bit high $48 a person, but we had a 10pm departure so spent 4+ hours in Trunk Bay and cute Cruz Bay.
Trunk Bay was stunning with very good snorkeling. A large group of 80+ showed up at some point with snorkels, vests and a paddleboarder / lifeguard, but after they left we were all alone with lots of fish.
Took 530 taxi back to ferry got to ship at 7pm. Haversight stores were closed or closing, so hopped aboard and enjoyed the ships food.
