  3. Royal Princess
Chose this last minute cruise because it got us away from the 'Beast from the East' that was enveloping the UK. Not sure what has happened to the standard of Princess, since our last trip on the sister Regal Princess two years ago, that was fantastic. Food was always warm not hot and menu repetetive. Anytime dining was a NoNo with the staff they have guarding the door. 40 minute wait and then told after 40 minutes 'I said APPROX 30-40 minutes'. So how long now? ''Another 30 minutes'. Empty tables clearly visible inside! Poolside cocktails. They no longer add adornments of pineapple /cherries etc. Cocktail parties. No Canapes. Shore destination information, a leaflet. Unless you want to learn about Diamonds International!. Many passengers 'confused' that Euro's are the currency of Martinique. On the plus side, it was the best entertainment experienced on a Princess ship (25+) and embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Also there was not the hard sell of drinks packages spa and, photo's.

good luck

Cabin Review

Balcony
Cabin BF M109
Think it must have been originally designed as a cleaners cupboard. One of the few cabins on the ship that has a solid metal balcony upstand, not glass. Just room for two chairs and a small table. If you sit you can only see sky, and if you stand you have a wonderful view of the Bridge roof.
