last minute sale gave us a price we couldnt refuse. it was going to a few new islands and we love the Royal. Getting on and off the Ship has gone so smoothly in the past, especailly for the amount of passengers, that it is hard to believe.the balcony cabins are big as is the shower which i fit into (220 6ft tall) easily. we like big tables and early seating and werent disappointed with our table mates or servers. Of course the great food and menus help. the entertainment is Broadway or Vegas quality and they pay for the cruise all by themselves. We love the attn we get from the cabin steward the drink runners the LINE dance (Lucy) teachers and Matt "O" was a great entertainment director. The ship was clean as a whistle, no one got sick and there was very little coughing going on. The sinks and sanitary stations were well stocked and people were using them going in and out of the dining areas which was comforting to see. The fitness center was well taken care of with a lot of machines and tvs mounted on them was a great idea to help prevent boredom. the top deck walking area was always busy but large enough to handle all that wanted to be on it
port side 14th deck forward gave us a smooth ride. big bathroom plenty of storage because we bring collapsible shelves for clothes and shoes.
