We booked this ship out of convenience of port location and thought there would be a lot of activities for our 4 and 6 year olds. Although we have been on numerous cruises, this was our first experience on one of the larger royal caribbean ships.

The ship was booked to full capacity for our trip. When I went to book our shows online before the cruise, it said there was no availability and to book onboard. When we arrived, I was told to go wait in a ridiculously long line to book shows, ifly, and the northstar. The line took 1.5+ hours to go through and moved extremely slowly. I tried to book on the app on my phone (also extremely slow) and got an error message every time I tried to book an activity.

Any activity a child might want to do on a ship had a ridiculous wait. The seaplex is great in theory, however, there is very limited capacity for bumper cars, roller skating, trapeze, and the xbox's considering there are 4000 passengers. To get tickets for any activity, you had to get there early, wait in a line for tickets, come back for the activity, and wait more. There are no waterslides on this cruise ship as well.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D6

Clean and lots of storage. We had two rooms for two adults and two children and the doors could be individually opened and could be magnetically held open without swinging, which was nice and didn't need to be propped.
