We chose this cruise for the itinerary, which was very interesting. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog, we were unable to dock in Shanghai, which threw off the ship's schedule. However, the ship offered a free cocktail hour to try to make up for our disappointment. We were staying in a penthouse, and our butler was excellent, as were all the service personnel on the ship. I felt the cabin was a little "tired" and could use a redo. We felt the food was not as good as in the past and as long term passengers on this line, we saw that they have not changed the menus in the specialty restaurants for seven years. Some of the meals were very good but many passengers complained to us of tough steaks and overcooked lobster. As for the entertainment, although some was good, it was a little unsophisticated for our taste. We would have liked a comedian who was not a ventriloquist or a magician.
