Fantastic tour and you actually make chocolate! It's a fabulous way to get out of the crazy touristy mess of Cozumel and see something real.

Excellent, lesser known ruins. Tour guide was good even though his English was not great. Nice, safe air-conditioned bus ride to the ruins. Toured the ruins. Returned for a LATE lunch. It was great, but it was also quite expensive...

Caught nothing and captain seemed only mildly interested in us!

We booked through Roatan Trips and Tours. Steve was amazing. Although the reef is dying like pretty much everywhere else, the variety of fish was still good. Generally we loved getting out into Roatan, as it's an authentic place unlike Costa Maya and Harvest Caye.

Harvest Caye is what happens when a cruise line develops an Island. The pool and beach were fantastic and immaculate. The island is stunning. But don't kid yourself. This is not Belize. It's an extension of whatever cruise ship you are on.

While almost entirely propped up by tourism, Roatan is an authentic destination unlike Costa Maya and Harvest Caye.We booked Chachchobben Mayan Ruins at Costa Maya through NCL and probably shouldn't have.
