First the positives:

1. Excellent itinerary - the ports were amazing

2. Professional handling of crisis - we had a man jump overboard during the night, causing the cancellation of our Alicante port of call due to the search & rescue operation. The captain, crew and staff handled this very professionally. The security staff response throughout the remainder of the cruise was very reassuring and made us feel safe.

Casablanca

Booked a private tour to Rabat through Get Your Guide with Ando Travel. Our tour guide was Ahmen Amellouk. He gave us an excellent tour starting with a brief stop in Casablanca at the Hassan II Mosgue, then on to Rabat where we had many stops where Ahmed told us the history, culture, background, and stories of each area. Then back to Casablanca where we requested to be taken to a shop and then the ship. Ahmed answered all of our questions and was very friendly and engaging. One of the best tour guides we have ever had.

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria)

Hop on and Hop off bus worked fine here. We did the included walking tour also, which we enjoyed. Saw the beautiful cathedral inside on our own. Did the Columbus House on our own also and found it very worthwhile.
