This was our 2nd time on MSC and the first was bad. So why did we go again? The destinations....
Embarkation - This was too many people in too small an area being "assisted" by too few staff. I am disabled, and both myself and my wife (who also has a stick to help walking) were left in a long queue for nearly half an hour before we even got into the cruise terminal. This soured even the start of the cruise, as to then be bombarded by people selling packages was just adding insult to injury.
Cabin - was good with a small balcony that directly overlooked the lifeboats, this would have been called an obstructed view on all other lines. Still it was comfortable, apart from the very nasty rust stain under the shower.
Small but OK with small balcony directly on top of lifeboat, which has been poorly maintained. Also rust under shower, which was removed when we complained.
Used MSC shuttle 9.90 euros. Don't use their shuttle bus - it drops you a mile away from the centre - take bus number 16 cheaper and drops you much closer.
Lovely old walled town, brilliant views, loved the food in the Square Pub, cheap and great sandwiches.
