NCL Epic review. Spring break cruise. My 13 year old loved the teen club. There was a bunch of spring break kids and she loved it. It was the best part of the cruise. The other guests were really nice and everyone was polite and not pushy. Nice group of fellow cruisers.

My wife and I have been on 20+ cruises and found the food on the Epic to be " just bad". Just plain bad. The salad bar was small and ridiculous. The buffet was lousy. The upgraded restaurants ( you give them $ ) were not much better. Everything was way too salty. There was some spice ( MSG ? ) on everything and it left a bad taste in your mouth after dinner. It was the worst food on any cruise we have ever been on. I was glad we had a full bottle of Zantac as indigestion was a nightly occurrence.

The crew worked really hard and I found every crew member to be quite pleasant. We had the drink package ( and so did most everyone else on the ship ) and it was fun. There were expected lines at the bar, but they did a good job of setting up small bars to accommodate. I would give the drink package a 5.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

This ship has the worst bathrooms of any ship ever. The toilet is on one side ( near main cabin door) and there is a weird curved translucent glass door that closes ( not tight ). If you use the bathroom at night the toilet is so loud you wake everyone up. Not to mention smells. On the other side is the shower, same slide thing for a door. A curtain separates you from the cabin when you exit the shower. Since the the main cabin door shares the same space, there is an opportunity to embarrass anyone in or out of the shower.
