We booked a taster cruise as we are looking to book a family holiday next year, we haven't been put off cruising but definitely won't be booking with P&O. Due to an on going IT issue Britannia was late to leave, late to arrive in Zeebrugge and we couldn't go on our excursion. Total lack of organisation at all levels, too many people trying to get off at once leading to closure of gangways for a time, finally able to leave ship around 1pm so too late to do a lot. Unorganized getting back on the ship with gangways being moved around, leaving everyone dockside. No record of our restaurant booking and being told we couldn't have a table at all anywhere as it was too late to book one by 2nd sitting so only option was buffet, which was average at best Breakfast was the most awful affair, literally like a scrum to get any food, queues everywhere and no tables. Rude staff that couldn't be bothered to serve at the bars or restaurants. Managers who spoke to servimg staff like dirt in front of customers. Cabin steward just letting himself in and out of the cabin without knocking, including when my husband was drying himself after a shower. The whole experience was stressful, badly managed and made worse by rude staff. Safe to say we'll be spending our money elsewhere.
