Many things about this cruise were outstanding. Staff, baggage handling, public spaces and art on the ship, cabin, dining, cleanliness were top notch. Ensemble entertainment was excellent, as was some of the other entertainment. Some was aimed at people much older than us (54 and 60). Shore excursions were pricey but well done. In Puerto Limon, signed up for Explore Limon on line, independently, and it was easy and very good. Went to Panama Canal's Miraflores and Agua Clara locks, and highly recommend that. In Cartegena, did the hop on hop off bus, has some waiting but pretty good, expecially the old town and fortress. In Grand Caymen, walked to Seven Mile beach. In Cozumel, went to the shopping area near the cruise ship pier, but it wasn't very good. Nearby beaches not good here, and town too far to walk.
Dinner at the Murano was soooo good, but upcharge is excessive. We like not having formal nights. Having the late dinner shift conflicted less with port time.
Our nits: Biggest is that although we had the premium drink package, the automated wine machines in Cellarmasters was not included! The only way to use them is to buy a $50 card--very very few people did this. Looks cool in the video, but is not made clear that it is an additional, substantial charge.
Very good, balcony so nice, easy to control and adjust temperature.
Walked through town, and to Seven Mile Beach on our own.
Pier is several miles from town, so just walked around shopping area nearby. Not very good. No nearby good beaches.
