  3. Viking Sea
We’ve cruised for 20 years on most of the major lines. This was our first Viking ocean cruise, taken after enjoying their Rhine river cruise in 2017. We had heard - incorrectly- that there wasn’t much going on evenings. We were afraid that TED Talks might be the most exciting option. Even saw such an opinion in an article here on Top Luxury Cruises. Both dead wrong. We were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality evening shows on the Viking Sea. They had the best singers and shows we’ve heard on any ship. We met one of them who was in the world tour of “Beauty and the Beast”. No boring evenings! See for yourself in these videos I made on board.... http://capecodphotoalbum.com/vikingsingers/ We immediately booked another cruise on the Sea for next February. The overall atmosphere here is very peaceful... we never felt crowded at all. Food was top shelf with plenty of good choices. Open dining, no set schedule, no stress. Wine and beer free with all meals. You can order your favorite bottle of wine as we did on Valentines Day, but spent $60 for it, so caveat emptor. (A red wine, “7 Deadly Zinns”, which we had tried and enjoyed in a wine tasting on board) Free WiFi saves you $300 you’d spend on other lines. Overall, for what you get included here, we feel Viking is a good value!

Best entertainment yet!
