Sail Date: Mar 2018

We boarded at Tilbury and was shown our cabin 5136. We had to call reception as water was coming up through the shower drain, but this was soon fixed by an engineer.

We was surprised by the number of very old and less mobile passengers on this cruise, walking sticks, Zimmer frames and mobile chairs. We later found out this cruise was used by Saga. This had obvious problems when disembarking and embarking at the various ports of call.

The ship on first impression looked modern but there is something fundamentally wrong with it. Had I read the reviews of December 2017 and January 2018 beforehand we would not of booked this cruise. The ship was very noisy, there was a constant smell of sewage outside the cabins and in reception area , the lounges would be cold due to the air conditioning temperature being too low, there was a constant sound of people coughing and yes we also went down with a chest infection.
