We spent a few days in Buenos Aires prior to embarkation. The city was worth a visit and we felt safe in the Recoleta area where our hotel was located. The weather was warm and sunny.

On embarkation day, we received our room cards and surrendered our passports. The lineups at the terminal moved quickly, and we found our stateroom right away. Our luggage was delivered to our room mid afternoon.

The ship was easy to navigate and the elevators aft and forward were often less crowded than the mid ship elevators. The ship can get busy in certain areas during the daytime but if one is willing to explore there are other quiet spots to sit and relax. The pool areas were less busy in the morning; the aft pool less busy at all times.
