I was cruising one week on the HARMONY and then transferring for one week on the FREEDOM (separate critique to follow). This review is for the HARMONY.
Embarkation was very slow; there were only two attendants working the Diamond Plus, Pinnacle and Suite levels. Eventually, a third attendant came to help with the growing queue.
Once onboard however, the service was excellent. Our waiter in the main dining room was always attentive and our table was always ready. The food was tasty, attractively served and presented in a very timely manner.
The room itself was completely adequate (although at the very front of the ship) and required a journey through a labyrinth of corridors. The main problem was that the room was very hot and even with the a/c turned on full, 30 minutes inside resulted in a headache! It was sweltering! As a result the drapes were closed most of the time and I might as well have been in an interior cabin. When the drapes were opened, the large 'ocean view' window did not afford an ‘ocean view’. I was looking at the helipad!
Furthermore, the crew/staff take their exercise/breaks on the Helipad and being on deck 8, gives the Helipad users a clear view into the stateroom. The drapes were not allowed to be open in the evening because the light might distract the operations in the Bridge.
So all in all, not the best stateroom for me; although the attendant did everything he could to make me comfortable.
