Sail Date: Mar 2018
Cabin: Aqua Class

Embarkation was very fast. The porter accepted our luggage and all the luggage was delivered to the cabin without any delays. Aqua Class Cabin was on Deck 11 AFT. Aqua Class has it own dining room and some additional perks. There is Concierge for Aqua Class. The Blu Dining room has a limited menu and the portions are smaller than the regular dining room. The Internet connection was very good. The Port of Incheon was fogged in and the ship could not leave. The ship arrived one day late to the Port of Tianjin (Beijing). The Port of Shanghai was closed due to fog and the ship was 8 hours late docking. The Captain and crew updated the passengers on the delay. One hour before docking the Wi Fi was disable and there was no way to contact anyone waiting at the port for the arrivals.

The Entertainment was very good. The dining in all the restaurants were very good. The crew was outstanding. The tram service in Nagasaki made it very easy to visit the area of the Atomic Bomb.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

The Aqua Class cabins size are the same size as a Concierge Class cabins that are located on the lower decks. The only differences are the additional perks and no Concierge.

Port Reviews

Hong Kong

Used Uber from the airport to the pier. Easy city to get around using a MTR pass that is good on buses, trains, MTR and ferries

Seoul (Incheon)

The ship arrived late due to fog in the area. The ship offered free shuttle service from the pier to the City of Incheon. We walked around the city and then purchased a one way ticket on the train to Seoul. We visited a couple of shopping areas in Seoul. Most of the sites were closed by the time we reach Seoul.

Beijing

We arrived one day late in Beijing. We arranged for a tour company to drops us off at a hotel. Our friends took a tour of the area. We took a bus from the hotel to the main shopping center near the hotel. The shops and restaurants are all in new buildings and there are no street vendors.
