We always cruised Royal Caribbean and built up loyalty points to Diamond status. We decided to try Celebrity last April because of the ports and it being a part of the Royal family. It was not a problem transferring the status level to Celebrity. We are empty nesters and cruise by ourselves, the kids aren’t interested. Another reason we chose Celebrity Is that is seems to be more adult oriented. We didn’t really see very many children, a few teenagers. The cleanliness and friendly staff of the ship also impressed us.

Living in South Florida makes for easy access to cruises are an easy drive. Leaving and arriving in Miami is beautiful.

We started booking suites on Royal and booked one for this cruise- we are hooked on suites now. On Celebrity you get a butler and he was a wealth of information with top notch service. He also told us about his experiences while working on a ship on an Alaskan cruise- we did book one onboard after hearing about the beauty and his adventures.
