My DH and I chose freedom just to see how the ship was after cruising on her 10 years ago. She has held up very well. We were very impressed with the maintenance, cleanliness, food and entertainment. The staff were very friendly. We arrived at the port and were on the ship in less than 15 minutes. We did the self assist diembarkment and were through customs and in a cab in 15 minutes. It was the smoothest embarkation and disembarkation we have ever experienced. This was our first time cruising as diamond members in the crown and anchor club. We each enjoyed our 24 hour free internet. The diamond lounge was a little small and got crowded during cocktail hour but the hourdourves and drinks were delicious and plentiful. The only complaint is the three daily drinks loaded on our sea pass card didn’t include blended drinks......so no pina coladas etc....also we could only get the free drinks from 4:30 to 8:00 pm. It would be really nice to enjoy our free frozen drink on deck during the day. Hope they revise that rule. We are hoping to see this changed on Symphony when we sail in March 2019.
