Cabin: Signature Superior Verandah Suite

We chose the cruise because of the itinerary (through the Panama Canal) and the fact we love HAL and prefer the smaller ships. We had done the Canal once before in 1996.

We had the signature suite 8094, which was good size. Bathroom had a whirlpool tub and shower plus another free standing shower and two sinks. Large balcony.

We ate breakfast daily in the Lido, usually at the omelet station, made to order. Food was always excellent. We had lunch either in the Lido or the Dive Inn hotdog, hamburger cafe outside. A lot of time they had "tapas" in the Lido which sufficed for lunch. Also made to order salads.
