It was the first cruise taken by my mother in law and I and we enjoyed it so much. We did not do any of the shore excursions as we were not sure what to expect. There was plenty to do onboard and at each stop. We will plan for shore excursions next time, but this made for a wonderful first cruise. The crew was amazing, kind, generous and very helpful. We enjoyed most of the food locations. Definitely happy that we decided to get the beverage package, it was truly worth it. The specialty dining packages were amazing as well. If you are looking for savings, purchasing a package would definitely do it for you. Our rooms were small but larger than what we expected for a boat cabin. The only complaint was that the restrooms in the public areas were not all working properly. There were more out of order signs than we would have like to see which caused long wait times or heading back to your room just to use the restroom. Other than that, it was great.

Balcony

Cabin BC

The cabin was nice and well maintained. So happy that we chose a balcony room. The views were amazing in the morning and evening as the sun set and rose. There was news, information channels, and two movie channels to watch while in the rooms. Although, with so much going on, I don't think anyone would be in there too long, however, it was relaxing when we were.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Heavy peddlers when we got off of the ship, however, the area was beautiful. We took a riverboat to one of the beaches for a short period and just enjoyed the scenery. It was beautiful.

Puerto Vallarta

We were surprised to see a Walmart and Sams Club as we docked. It was funny but came in handy. It just so happened that my mother-in-law got sunburned and she was looking for some Alera Vera, of course, the peddlers waiting for the tourist to get off the boat were trying to upcharge. We just made a little walk across the street to get what we needed at low prices. We were also able to grab a couple souvenirs for cheap.

Mazatlan

This was the best stop. We were able to actually take our time, look around and enjoy ourselves. We found true Mexican eats and there was plenty to buy if we wanted. We just took our time walked around the many shops and grabbed food. There were plenty of shuttles and taxies to take you where you wanted to go if wanting to tour the local area as well.

Los Angeles

This is where we embarked, nice and smooth. We were able to enjoy in some of the amenities while we waited for everyone to load and the ship to sail.
