We have sailed with Princess many times and wanted to try their newer, larger ship. We also liked the itinerary and ports on this Easter Caribbean cruise. There were plus and minuses as outlined below:

-Piazza area is much larger and easier to enjoy many of the activities occurring there. Lots of seating too on deck 5 and 6 in the Piazza area

-Ship's decor is beautifully done in ivory and gold. All the public areas as well as our stateroom were fresh and new looking

-Stateroom was well appointed. We had an inside cabin and there was plenty of storage.

Shower is a bit larger than smaller Princess ships, but the configuration of the toilet, shower and counter/sink was cramped and awkward. We found the bed to be very firm/hard and made a good night's sleep difficult. We were on the Ruby Princess last July and loved their mattresses! Our stateroom was Deck 11 aft and was in a very quiet area. Wayan was our stateroom steward and did a fantastic job!
