Our family of four (two teenage boys) chose this cruise specifically to visit Cuba. I had read many reviews and was very nervous that we weren't going to like the ship but it was great. The rooms are small and somewhat outdated but we had plenty of room to unpack and the bathroom was a good size. We got two rooms - for sure 4 of us would not have fit in one cabin. There is the standard buffet every day and the food was fine but you should note there are two free restaurants that are full sit-down dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't like the buffet scene and 3 restaurants you can book and pay a little extra for. We thought this was totally worth it. Better food, nice environment, good service. We would not recommend the bingo or Deal or no Deal activities. They killed some time but a waste of money. We also did not do the ship excursions in Cuba. You can book your own at 1/4 of the cost and get your own private tour guide and car for an entire day and see everything. We used Cubaoutings and they were AWESOME! Highly recommend them. Our ship skipped Great Stirrup Cay due to weather. I hear this happens all the time so just be prepared that you likely will not go there. It was still worth it because seeing Cuba was amazing but if you are looking forward to the Bahama's you may be disappointed. If you don't book the ship outings you have to get a number to get off the boat in Cuba. A line starts forming at about 6:30 a.m. to give out numbers at 7:00 a.m. A hassle but we got group 1 so we could make the most of our day. The drinks are free on this boat and we thought they may not be good but they were great! Never had to wait in line either. Kids could be bored on this ship - it is no Royal Carribean - and our group skewed older. Ours loved it all (and we were unplugged!) but keep in mind there isn't a ton of activities geared to families/youth. I would do it again!

We had totally random rooms because we needed connecting rooms so we were in 6305 and 6306. These rooms are on a partial floor. However, they are near all the action so we loved the location, they were inexpensive and we spent no time in them anyway. If you want to save money and don't care about the room that much these were totally fine. I thought we were going to hate them but they worked! I would shoot for a window normally but we booked this late.
