Wheelchair for security checkin - then wait in area for another wheelchair to board ship
On ship at 11-50am - drinks in Lobby Bar and lunch in Lido Buffet while waiting to get into cabin at 1:40pm. Our cabin keys were in a sealed envelope outside our cabin. You can use your boarding pass to obtain drinks, etc. prior to finding you keys.
Lido Buffet was average food - very long lines that move very slowly!
Great room steard Dewa - kept ice bucket full numerous times a day - Bedding was outstanding & comfortable. Large cabin made storage of wife scooter easy but passage through standard door required removal of arm rests. Make sure you book a cabin with direct access from hallway to elevator - else it will be difficult to maneurver scooter into and through the cabin door. Cabin well equipped - had a shower/toilet/sink and another with tub and sink - great for my wife - I however only used shower. TV channels limited - no NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, etc. - just lots of news and crap.
Lots of shopping. Very expensive for Mexico. 6 sodas were $10. Rx very pricey - some more than in the states. Cocktails - beer expensive -
My hometown so no need to explore. Don't live here anymore but visit often. Very accessible by rental car shuttle, other shuttles, private vehicles, etc.
Lots of shopping along very long fontage row after getting off tender boats. Things are getting more expensive over the years.
