It was my partners bucket list to see the panama canal. We saved for our once in a lifetime cruise. We will never return to america as we usually cruise the mediterranean. We have used ncl before but never have we had anything like this ship. refurbishment was going on from day one even though the ship was going into dry dock after the end of our cruise. Hazardous dust and fumes were on the ship the whole time during our cruise and the noise from the grinding was atrocious. Everyone on board was coughing and had sore eyes, some went to the medical centre only to be told they would have to pay.

I can also say i was disappointed in some of the staff they seem to have lost interest in the clientele they would walk across you in the garden cafe or expect you to move, i have not seen this kind of thing on any other cruises i have done. Perhaps some of them were having to leave due to the dry dock i don't know. (no excuse really when you pay the monies we paid for this cruise) fitness was a nonsence as the running/walking track was not in use.
