I had such a good experience the first time I traveled with Royal Caribbean, so this was a big disappointment. The ship was very outdated, there was not much to do and it was not very clean. It smelled of sulfur/sewage almost everywhere we went onboard. The staff did not seem to know how to help us and did not seem very interested in answering our questions. Everything seemed very disorganized. The shore excursion to Costa Maya, called “Beach Break” was the most disgusting and unsanitary experience I have ever had! We paid about $60 each, but got back on the ship after about an hour. We ate in the main dining room three nights, two of the nights were just ok, the first night was unreal, we thought we were on candid camera, the meat did not seem to be real meat and tasted like it came from a can (sort of like Spam) but it was supposed to be New York Strip! The buffet was the best and so was the Asian restaurant we paid extra for.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Out-dated, but clean enough. There was some grimy makeup build-up on the vanity, probably years of not being “really” cleaned. The mirror had the same greasy handprints on it during our entire seven-night stay.

Port Reviews

Key West

Lots to see and shop, most of the trolley operators were knowledgeable and entertaining.
