We chose this cruise primarily for the ports of call and they did not disappoint. Japan bonus: Cherry blossoms came early, just in time for our visits to Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo.
This was our first time on Nautica; the fact of this being a smaller ship was a big advantage in certain ports, especially in Hong Kong, where we docked right in Tsim Sha Tsui and could walk to Kowloon. At night, we had a wonderful view from our balcony across the harbour to the magnificent skyline of HK, the light show and the ferry boats. This was one of the highlights of our trip.
Small size also made embarkation & disembarkation a breeze.
Our 1st time on O's smaller ships so took some getting used to the tighter quarters. In the end we accomodated well, but the bathroom did not meet our expectations...very cramped and poor quality fittings in bath area.
Odd that concierge class did not offer the usual concierge lounge; there was only once concierge on duty for the whole ship. Few extra amenities but in general, we didn't think concierge class is worth the extra $$ on Nautica.
