I chose this cruise for the Panama Canal. I didn’t want to go on holland because of the age of most guests. I made a huge mistake. The refit of 8 mil. Didn’t change the feel of a old ship. The rooms are tiny. I’m a single and I still feel cramped. No bathtub tiny tiny shower. Loads of staff but not very friendly. Like they are doing you a favor. Food in lido is horrible. Unimaginative not very good selections. Cheap on the cheeses and meats,Desserts stink. Presentation blah. Smell of sewage at night in my hallway. I guess going from a suite on celebrity to a balcony on Princess should never be done unless it’s a long time in between. BTW Room service menu is a joke.my plane was delayed so embarkation was the best part of the cruise. I was so late nobody else was there. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CRUISING.
