i sailed the Pride twice. i booked the 2nd time for the itinerary as well as for the Chinese buffet where i ate lunch every day. the convenience of driving to Baltimore (5 hours for us) was much easier than a 3 1/2 hour drive to the Philly airport, getting there early, 2 hour flight to Florida or 3 1/2 hours to Puerto Rico, etc. Parking in Baltimore is right there at the pier. the Pride is just the right size ship for me and my wife. the Alchemy Bar is conveniently located just outside from the Normandie (Main) Dining Room and the bartenders know how to make a great Martini as well as the bartenders at the Renaissance Lobby Bar. bar service while lounging around the pool is frequent and quick. just as every other ship there are chair hogs who put out towels or personal belongings early in the morning and show up about noon and expect the chairs top be theirs. the pool attendants take care of that, though.
the Grand Suite was more room than we needed.
