Cruised on the Celebrity Summit 14 months ago. It was a very good experience. I do not know what has happened but, if this one was our first cruise. We would never have cruised again. Easter weekend, 2018, this was our 60th cruise. Not with Celebrity. We are priority and it might as well been our first boarding. Entered the building a few min. after 12 noon. No priority line when you walk in. You are with everyone. All cruisers. After the luggage scan. Back in line. They had priority and non-priority. You would never think that it was that way. Both had as many in line waiting. Once you finally were entered in the system. They had to go somewhere to get your boarding pass “Room key “It took almost an hour from entering the building to getting onboard. Mind you, this is a very small ship. 2100 guests. Two months ago getting on RCCL Harmony, it took no more than 20 min. tops. Very fast boarding and super fast debarkation. Not on this ship. We were told it was because the ship was docked at a location for a smaller ship. This is a small ship! Finally on board, it was now after 1:00PM, usually by this time all the state rooms are ready. We went to ours and got kicked out in a jiffy. All the plumbing was shut down. My wife needed it and needless to say she was very worried. We were on the bottom deck near the aft section. Come to find out, only one men’s room and one ladies room were working. Top deck, front of the ship. You can imagine the line. Plumbing was fixed 3 hrs. later. Just before getting underway. A sigh of relief from everyone. I will try to make the rest as short as possible. The shows were boring. Over and over the same thing both days. Very repetitious. Singers were average to poor. Dancers were almost in sync. Food, never hot, warm at the best. The ship was super ice cold. Your food got colder very fast. Many wearing jackets and sweaters. I asked why is it so cold. The response was. You are the first person ever to say that. (Ya Right) Did not do the dining rooms or specialty restaurants.

Buffet deck 10, food every day was almost the exact same. I must say. The burgers were excellent and so were the fry’s. Far better than Guys’ on Carnival. Guess what I was eating. Pasta section was also great. Nassau to Key West. Never go to Key West as the last port. Once before we did it and it went fine. Customs in Key West. No Customs in Ft. Lauderdale. Not this time. Early morning in Key West we had to do Customs. If not a $3000.00 fine. Staying on or getting off. No matter. Guess what, debarkation in Ft. Lauderdale. Customs again. Both times all they did was look at your Passport picture and you and say Okay. Nothing else. What a joke.

The ship itself was well kept, our state room was also. However the bed was like a rock. So if you want to sit and read. It was a great cruise for you. So glad we know what great cruises are like. Just not this one. Guess we are lucky to hit only one bad one out of sixty. Looking forward to the nest. Booked on the Celebrity EDGE for next year.

Cabin as usual on Celebrity Summit. Small but nice. Bed however was like a rock if you like that. You are all set.
