I always cruise royal caribean or norwegin, this time, since it was my husband's birthday i decided to go with carnival's newest ship, Vista. As soon as i stepped onto the ship, and saw there was no welcoming party or crew standing with drinks, i knew this was not going to be a good cruise. There was no glitz or glam about this ship at all!!! They had one big design in the middle of the bar on the third level. The entertainment sucked!! Be prepared to stand in long lines for food AND, THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, even the crew we spoke to complained of the food (the friendly crew anyway...) the bathroom in the cabin was not the cleanest. Carnival does not give anything away, they nickle and dime you for everything. Other cruises usually have a 1 hour free happy hour. Even with the "captain ball" they will serve champagne to everyone, not carnival, they only served the champagne to the important crew that they were introducing, then told everyone to raise their glasses, what glasses!!!! This i thought was a total slap in the face!

Worst cruise ever, i wish i could get my money back!
