We chose this cruise as we had not cruised the Canary Islands before and all our previous cruises over the last 15 years have been with Tui, now known as Marella Cruises. Having read many reviews of this ship did give me some concern but our experience was excellent, my party consisted of three family couples all over 65. Food excellent, all staff excellent, entertainers excellent. What more can I say. We did have a disappointing meal in the Asian restaurant but this was resolved to our total satisfaction. Full refund plus a free upgrade meal with wine in the main restaurant the following evening. Can’t complain about that at all. Show bar entertainment was up to usual standard, we usually ended our evening in the casino playing the tables, which was all in good humour and good fun. Overall an excellent cruise, which was followed up by a weeks stay in Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside

Good size cabin, even had a shower over a bath, making the bathroom slightly bigger than usually on a Tui ship. Adequate storage, good size double bed. Air conditioning was noisy through the night.

Port Reviews

Agadir

We did the “town tour” as there was no port transfer unless you went by taxi and we did not fancy that. We have stayed in Agadir a couple of times so knew it quite well. The trip was ok nothing special and we were dropped off on the seafront for a couple of hours which was fine with us because we knew the area but if it was your first visit there you may have found the experience a little confrontational with the local street traders.
