We love to go to the Caribbean when it is cold at home. We started with 16 days on the Crown and then walked across the parking lot and got on the Regal for 14 more. This was our first time on the Regal and it is definately a change. On the up side Horizon Court has had a major upgrade and we were very inpressed! Not only was it totally redesigned but it was well laid out and easy to get around. We felt the quality and variety of food was far superior to the old design. There is also a greater seating area and we never found it hard to find a table, On the down side we missed having a quiet promenade deck with a quiet shady place to sit and read. The staff was amazing! Everyone was very gracious and eager to help in any way they could. This was supposed to be a Medallion Cruise but after the early rollout it had be limited to only a portion of the cabins and unfortunately we weren't in theat group this time. We did get to enjoy some of the benefits however. We had a 40 inch flat screen TV in the cabin with "On Demand" current movies. We are Elite and also had unlimited internet on 1 device for each person. It's a beautiful ship and we would go again if the ports appealed to us. Just know it is really a BIG ship so if walking is an issue you might want to be sure your cabin was centrally located to make it wasier to get around.

This was an interior handicapped cabin. I use a scooter and this makes things so much easier. I can drive in and out of the doorway and the shower has a bench and no step into the bathroom.
