We have been on over 30 Princess cruises and this one was the worst. Princess has gone steadily downhill over the past 5 years but they have managed to hit a new low. The remodel of the Island Princess provides more cabins and less public space, consequently events are crowded. Everything offered by Princess was overpriced such as shore excursions, shuttle service (when offered), drinks, etc. Food in the Horizon Court was never served hot; the food offering in both the Horizon Court and the main dining rooms was repeated so many times. Service provided in all of the dining areas was poor; I believe that they must be understaffed as the wait staff appears to be working hard. Perhaps the most hash comment would be that when deficient items are noted to the supervisory staff no action was taken and only excuses provided. This was not a pleasant cruise and I would not recommend the itinerary or the ship to anyone.
