Embarked on a ten day cruise on Koningsdam in March. Embarkation was efficient and the ship is beautiful however that was the best part. Our verandah stateroom was clean however the toilet certainly is ill positioned for tall folks. The food was good in the Lido lounge however the dining room fare was at best average and never served hot. The drink and beverage packages are over priced and we were charged for Coke several times even after paying the princely sum of over 90.00 for the cruise duration. The wine package is overpriced and the wine selections mediocre. We did get excellent service from our cabin stewards however room service was atrocious. We waited over an hour for a pot of coffee. We are on our seventh cruise and second with HA. We won't be going back. I thought that this cruise would be memorable and it was for the wrong reasons. The shore excursions were overpriced we visited every island for far less than the 118.00 charged by HA.in Arruba.
