We chose this cruise because we could start our holiday in Rio de Janeiro, which is one of our two favourite destinations for overseas holidays. We knew we would get some warm winter sunshine, so precious for people in Britain. Of course as people know Rio is a fabulous place, having a wonderful coastline, lots of places to visit and a big vibrant city. The people are very kind and helpful and go out of their way if you appear lost.

Having undertaken this voyage with MSC before we knew we would get well looked after and that the fantastic Animation Team would make sure there would be plenty of good times to be enjoyed. Once again we were not disappointed.

MSC Magnifica is a lovely well kept ship.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin O1

This was an upgrade from an inside cabin for us. Quite a large room with restricted views. However, it was good to be able to see out even though only partially. Very comfortable, with the extra of gold member perks including Tea making facilities very good.
