Carnival splendor is a great ship. A tad busy colorwise but a fun ship. Definately a party boat. But,we met the most interesting people on this ship. People from all over the world. The food in the cafeteria was fair at best.Rather dissapointing. We did not go to the formal dinners mainly because we had late seating which was too late for us. Our ship crashed into the dock in Puerto Vallarta. We were not able to go to Masatland because of repairs being done to the ship.We were given $20 per person port charges back. I do have to make a comment about the charges for alcohol and sodas. We like many other people are on a budget. Yes we got a good deal on the cruise. But it is ridiculous to pay $45 for sodas and $6 for a beer. Needless to say not many sodas or beers were bought. Our room stewards were outstanding. Also all dining staff were good. One last comment I have is; Met a gal from california. She jumped down from a upper bunk the first night on ship and broke her leg. She went on shore in PV and had it wrapped until she got home to Cal. My issue is she rented crutches which were taken from her the night before we got back to cal. They said she would have to pay $50 to be able to use them till the next day. This gal was the most upbeat person. She took it in stride but it left a bad taste in my mouth. All in all it was a good cruise. Great people and staff.

Cabin Review

We always get an inside cabin. This was the largest space so far. Well laid out and comfortable. We we pleased.
