Traveled during Spring break with husband and 7 and 2 year old sons. Have been on many cruises (15-20), most recently Disney Fantasy. Stayed in Grand Balcony Suite.
Ship is huge with lots of activities which cater more to teenagers in my opinion. It seems that because the ship has so many facilities RCL doesn’t see the need to provide as much onboard organized activities as they did in the past - relatively little live music for example, as one night a guitar player played for literally only 30 minutes.
Nursery room was a plus - 2 yr old quite happy there - although my 7 year old far preferred the kids room on Disney and I heard another parent say the same about their child.
Biggest complaint is that they aren’t equipped to handle this many passengers and don’t seem to have their act together- for example, you have to wait in line at mealtime, the 3 Purell dispensers at entrance to kids area were always empty, activities were canceled or rescheduled since the Planner was printed the night before and no one tells you. I caught a stomach virus and met another passenger who did too and it’s no wonder.
Chops and 150 Park meals were very rushed and we had to wait about 10 minutes for my cocktail because whatever bar they went to “was backed up”. Hibachi was a bright spot and great experience.
Suite was also a positive in that it was quite roomy, even for 4.
Finally the ship is showing a lot of wear and tear.
Back to Disney Fantasy for spring break next year. We won’t be back on Oasis.
Spacious but showing wear.
