This was my second time on the Harmony in 3 months. The first time I was with a friend for her travel agent conference at the beginning of November. The second time with my daughter for school vacation. I love the big new ships, but they are not for everyone. The ship and the cruise were perfect for myself and 15 year old daughter. My husband could not join us this week. She had a blast at the teen club and made a lot of friends, which is why RC and this ship worked for our mother daughter getaway! The ship was booked to capacity, and there were a lot of kids...school vacation in the northeast, yes it is busy, but it is so big! The issue is sea days at the pool. People were saving chairs, but RC was on it, and removing stuff after half an hour. I was disappointed that they were not enforcing no kids in the Solarium area! My daughter wanted to go in there and I said NO. Yet people were in there w kids. The bar service at the Solarium awful and I experienced that as well in November.
The specialty dining is very good! Wonderland a MUST for any foodie, Jamie's great too..The Solarium also a nice option for dinner. The main dining room only average and a bit frenetic. The Windjammer had some great selections and easy to get a quick bite before a show.
Service could be spotty as well as the drinks! I always had great service in the casino and at the Windjammer.
Great location! Loved having the light come in the room.
We were suppose to zip line. It was very windy and they had weight restrictions my daughter was too light. RC refunded my money.
