We chose the cruise while on the MSC Divina when it was first announced. Sounded like an interesting ship configuration. Since we enjoyed the Divina, we were looking forward to another enjoyable cruise.
The cruise was excellent, the food good, more of a Mediterranean influence, but we expected that. The specialty restaurants were good, the Butchers Cut (Steak house) was excellent as was the Teriyakki (where the food is cooked at the table). The Asian Fusion was ok, but not my preference.
The dining room was very good, but in ours there were 3 seatings: 5:30, 7:45, and 9:30. So, you can't stay at the table too long after you've eaten. The waiters and assistants were excellent. The buffet was on two floors - Market Place Buffet on Deck 8 and another Buffet on Deck 16 (don't remember the name). We went to Deck 16 for breakfast and Deck 8 for lunch. On Deck 8, the pizza was excellent !!! and, yes I had it every day. (So much for a diet).
For a suite, it's smaller that some balcony cabins we've been in. Too small and not worth the cost.
